Merriam-Webster dictionary reads that Quagmire is: soft miry land that shakes or yields under the foot.

I actually wanted to name it something else (when I first did it, it was only called "Green", to be able to save the PSD file)... but I couldn't think about other name while in the stress of work.

After a while of watching it, I was reminded of Ragnarok Online (an online game I used play a lot with my friends), were a green magic marsh created by Wizards to slow down enemies goes under this name.

It's color and looks reminded me of it...so, I literally (and senselessly) called it Quagmire.
